Let’s move our bodies! Learn the energetic dance styles from West Africa, accompanied by live drumming. Dance is a great bonding activity, teaches balance and coordination, and creates unity for the entire group.
DRUM!
→Djembe Drum Workshop
Our master artists teach the rhythms of West Africa, while your campers have fun playing music as a group! Wula can provide a drum for each participant to play. Campers will be taught the technique to make the proper sounds, the history of the rhythms, and their cultural significance.
FEEL ALIVE!
→Interactive Performance
Wula Drum has everyone jumping out of their seats, grooving to the rhythms of the drums. Participants are transported to West Africa and invited to join in with clapping and singing - and even brought up to dance! The performances are entertaining, educational, and experiential.
