This drum was played in the desert at Burning Man, and then left untouched for months. It had sand stuck to the shell everywhere! The shell needed a full repair service: fix several cracks, cleaning, sanding, re-oiling and rewaxing. After that, the rings were retied and wrapped. Finally, a brand new 5.5mm rope and a premium goatskin from Guinea.
This drum was resurrected!
We also fix non Wula Drums, no problem! We will use our 5.5mm rope to assure it won’t break after tuning.
This big 15 inch djembe used to belong to Famoudou Konate! Restored!
We also repair Dunduns, Sangbans, Kenkenis and many other drums with skins.
