The diversity in African-based techniques and wonderful teachers! The opportunity to take whatever class you want, whether it’s dance or learning an instrument! It’s an all day and evening event of live drumming and dancing in the dance studios or by the camp fire in the evenings! Great camp site, comfortable cabins, a lake and two swimming pools. An awesome sanctuary from the noisy inner city life! 👍🏽

The WULA RETREAT is AMAZING. Hands down, the best experience of an adult community coming together in a camp environment I have ever had. I look forward to returning every year to learn, reconnect, and meet new friends. Michael is fantastic and as a teacher at the retreat I feel so grateful to be a part of this amazing mission and to learn from the other incredible staff.
