Every Wula Drum is truly unique. Handcrafted from a solid piece of wood, our skilled team of artisans create the most outstanding instruments for all to enjoy. Because drums are made out of natural materials, some may have slight blemishes or ‘imperfections.’ We offer these as “Bargain Drums.” If a drum is more out of round, has splits in the wood, or even possible superficial damage that occurred during import/export, we offer discounts. We take great pride and care, without sacrificing the beauty of making instruments by hand, by the people, from where the djembe originally comes from.

All Wula Drums are unique pieces made by hand in Guinea, West Africa from a single piece of wood.
Through our Reforestation Project, local forest guardians ensure that the wood is selectively sourced for sustainability of forest areas and the communities that surround them.
The Wula Team in Guinea carves and assembles each drum with precision and expert craftsmanship using the highest quality materials. Learn More:
